Perfect location, at a medium distance from Times Square. Based so close to public transport, the empire state building and times Square, and the main attractions of New York and the subway system. Contemporary rooms and brand-new with coffee maker, a fridge, for instance. Lots of food for breakfast including muffins and yoghourt.

The hotel was in an excellent location and the room was very comfortable. The provision of complimentary breakfast and tea and coffee during the day was a real bonus for New York. The rooftop garden with stunning views of the Empire State Building was fantastic. The staff were helpful . I would reccomend it

easy strolls to bryant park and herald square spots
I loved being just a few steps from Herald Square and less than a 10-minute walk to Bryant Park. Plus, the hotel staff surprised us with a lovely room upgrade and treats for our anniversary.

Everything is at your finger tips. Shopping, sightseeing, buses, underground, public locations to sit and eat your take-away food and watch the world go by. The hotel was superb, the staff helpful and friendly, the room extremely comfortable and clean. A great complimentary breakfast and free tea and coffee available 24 hours a day. On the day we arrived we were lucky enough to also have complimentary cheese and wine, along with other delicacies. Not forgetting free newspaper and other magazines, such as Time Out. I would recommend this hotel withour any hesitation.

very little
Some of the front desk staff were indifferent or oblivious. The room needs to be fumigated. Although I had long nightwear, I could feel bugs biting my legs and back. I finally got up, put a bath towel over the sheet, and was able to sleep a few hours. The front desk person seemed disinterested about this.

Check in and out was a breeze and I enjoyed the breakfast each morning.
There was no place to hang my towel in the bathroom and they took my wash cloth and did not replace it.

The location of the hotel was lovely - not very far from Herald Square. The venue room was newly remodelled and well-maintained on level 8. The staff were very helpful people that accepted to keep our bags after check-out. Actually everything was amazing, our next choice again in New York City.

The hotel also offered relaxation through its lovely lounging areas and a small gym. One minor downside was some occasional street noise, but it didn't spoil my overall experience 😊

I stayed in one of their newly renovated premium rooms and they are gorgeous!! Comparable to the Thompson hotels. Definitely a great value with an amazing location. Would definitely come back and recommend the renovated rooms.

Our second stay at the hotel. The room was a great size (for New York) and nice and quiet, very clean and we would definately stay again
Nothing really - didn't have tea or coffee in the room although it was available all day downstairs in the dining area
